Three Home-Cooked Meals Daily!

Serving 3 home-cooked meals daily, Treemont has three opportunities daily to delight our residenets. We aim to delight and hope you will take the opportunity to taste for yourself the nourishing food provided to our residents.

Another factor I feel worth mentioning is that I raised six children and was responsible for meals every day 7 days a week.  And to move here and walk in a line and pick what I want to eat seems like I’m in heaven.                 ~Maggie

I think really the food is as good as you can hope to get any place. When I have a cold and I don’t want to expose other people, I just call down and have them send food up to my room.

(By current Treemont residents)

Resident Lois McCall interviewed senior living Houston residents at Treemont Retirement Community to determine why they love living at this assisted living community. Here is her compilation of reasons.

10. Tired of Upkeep of My Home; I Enjoy Hassle Free Living. I was tired of keeping  up a big house, dealing with yard men, plumbers, painters, and repairmen of all kinds. It took an inordinate amount of time and money just to maintain the status quo, and I wanted to be free of all that. 9. Safety and Peace of Mind. There were three robberies within a year at the apartment complex where I

•No more upkeep of a large home!

•No more chores or housekeeping!

•No more maintenance!

I’ve told other  people I’ve finally found a” wife,” a really good wife, who takes care of my house and takes care of my food. In addition, I have a “husband” that takes care of all of the outdoors chores, and makes everything lovely. One day I was writing an email to someone, and I said you know, someone is cleaning my house right  now, and someone else is cooking my lunch and someone else will will do the dishes.                                             ~Jeanne

Socialization, Activities, Companionship & Making New Friends

Studies have shown that seniors who socialize and stay active among their peers, are happier and maintain a better quality of life. Treemont has a robust activities program designed to engage its residents. But there are other intangible benefits of residing in a senior living community. Here’s what current residents have to say on this topic.
