Home health Care Spotlight on Caregiver Leslie Foston

Welcome Caregiver Leslie Foston, one of Senior Allegiance’s newest employees, who has taken on a big role during COVID-19. Her primary task at this time is taking temperature checks on Senior Allegiance’s Treemont customers, Mondays to Fridays. Leslie then assists where ever needed with activities of daily living, typically on the morning shift, but she is flexible.Leslie Foston photo

Administrator Karina Walker says, “Leslie is a very caring and loving caregiver that recently joined our team in February. During such difficult and uncertain times, it is refreshing for many residents to have someone to visit them on a daily basis, not only to check on their well being, but also to lift their spirits with a smile. We are honored to have Leslie as part of our team and look forward to her continued growth within our company.”

Leslie grew up in Baytown, TX with her parents, step-parents and 4 step-siblings. Having earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Leslie decided her heart wasn’t in that field and decided to pursue Nursing. Previously Leslie was manager of The Children’s Place. Leslie applied to work for Senior Allegiance to gain experience in the nursing world. “I love being able to make sure my senior residents are ok at all times. Sometimes they just want someone to talk to when they have no one else.” says Linda.

Residents move to a senior independent living community with the desire to stay independent as long as possible. Treemont introduced the concept of “Independence Plus” on our campus. Seniors who need help with activities of daily living can receive Personal Assistance Services (PAS) and Medicare Home Health therapy and nursing services in their apartment instead of moving to a licensed assisted living facility. Senior Allegiance is the “Plus” in Independence Plus.

Please make sure to waive to Leslie as you pass her in the hallway and let her know we appreciate her service to our Treemont residents.  Questions about Senior Allegiance services?
