Treemont is making headway on many items of improvement to the community.
The automated doors have been installed in the lobby area leading to the back patio. If you haven't noticed, the new "auto" doors are located just near the fireplace closest to the dining room side.
The new buffet line equipment is up and running and is a nice addition to the dining room remodel. We still have a few things we will be adding such as tile wall behind the buffet line and new built in cabinetry for the beverage station. We will be doing these items with our "in-house" maintenance crew.
Many of you have noticed the new artwork around the lobby area. Thanks to the Witts for sending us new original pieces from various artists. For information on the artists, please ask Janie at the Front Desk
You may have noticed the work has begun on replacing the old carpeting in the Lobby and B, C, and D 1st floor corridors. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. It is slow, dusty and dirty work to remove so much carpeting and prepare the floor for the new carpet tiles we will be installing.
As always, there are many on going maintenance items in progress. Elevator inspections and repairs, sprinkler system inspections are all in the works at the moment.
The "Treemont Bark Park" is still planned for the near future but we are waiting on some cooler temperatures for our workers and our "doggies".
Treemont has added a few additional parking spaces in the back parking lot and installed new ADA-compliant ramps and hand rail at the Health Care Center and in A building.
As always, we appreciate your patience as we work to improve your community.
