Physical Therapist Monte Montecillo Provides Medicare Therapy to Houston Assisted Living Residents

Monte Montecillo, Senior Allegiance Physical Therapist, is an integral person on the Treemont Campus. He evaluates and treats independent living residents admitted for Home Health Care physical therapy services with Senior Allegiance, so they can get stronger and back to where they were prior to a health setback.Monte_physical therapist assisted living houston

Are you aware that Medicare covers the cost of many of the services that allow you to remain active, especially if you have been hospitalized in the past year?  Senior Allegiance will work with your doctor to help identify service needs that can be provided under the Medicare program, including physical, occupational or speech therapy as well as nursing care.

Once qualified for services, Monte is one of the therapists who will visit you in your apartment for therapy services. To see if you qualify for Medicare therapy, please call Senior Allegiance team members Administrator Karina Walker or Cindy Harrell at (713) 975-1519 to arrange a visit, assess your needs, and get a doctor’s order implemented to get started.

Born and raised in a little town Sogod (60 kms from Cebu) in the Philippines, Monte was lured to work at the world’s biggest medical center, Texas Medical Center, along with his wife Vivian and sister, both also RNs. Monte worked as a medical surgical nurse for 25 years in various positions. He felt he outlived his usefulness in nursing, got a physical therapy degree in 1987 and started practicing Occupational Therapy in an acute hospital in the Philippines. Monte comes from humble beginnings. His mom, a school teacher and strict disciplinarian, and his self-employed father, raised 5 boys and one girl, of which Monte is the eldest. Monte is blessed with 3 children Dave, Vida and Diane and 6 beautiful grand girls, ages 1 to 17 years. Monte played basketball and tennis during his younger days.

"Monte continues to inspire and encourage Treemont residents to live a happier and healthier life through his dedicated work as a Physical Therapist with Senior Allegiance,” says Administrator Karina, "If you have ever had Physical Therapy with Monte, you'll quickly realize what amazing progress you are able to accomplish— it's a blessing to have him at Treemont."

Monte’s holistic approach to therapy makes him the most sought after therapist at Treemont,” adds Treemont Health Care Center’s Nursing/Rehab Director Jobert Macas. Monte also motivates his co-workers with his dedication, dependability and compassion.

Please say hello to Monte as you see him visiting resident’s apartments to deliver rehab services. For questions on Senior Allegiance Home Care services, contact Cindy via (713) 975-1519 or Cindy@SeniorAllegiance.com. Join the Walk and Roll on March 8th to adjust your walker.
