Three Home-Cooked Meals Daily!

Serving 3 home-cooked meals daily, Treemont has three opportunities daily to delight our residenets. We aim to delight and hope you will take the opportunity to taste for yourself the nourishing food provided to our residents.

Another factor I feel worth mentioning is that I raised six children and was responsible for meals every day 7 days a week.  And to move here and walk in a line and pick what I want to eat seems like I’m in heaven.                 ~Maggie

I think really the food is as good as you can hope to get any place. When I have a cold and I don’t want to expose other people, I just call down and have them send food up to my room. So I’m covered. I’m very pleased to be here.        ~Susie

I walked into Treemont one day.  Honestly, I looked at the dining room and said, my gosh this is it!  That’s what sold us.   ~Gene

I like the people here. The staff is nice here, wonderful, helpful. The residents are all friendly and nice. The food here is not the Waldorf -Astoria but is good wholesome food. The service is great, it's wonderful. Everything about Treemont is is good as far as I can tell.   ~ Ed

I get 3 meals a day. I don’t have to eat my own cooking!     ~ Bob

Everybody is just so nice around here, everyone, every single person on the staff. The Food Service Director does such a nice job with the dining room. I like the fact that you sit down and you get a fresh napkin every time and tablecloth. Everything is brand new.  It’s very nice. And if you want to you can go through the line and if you want to pretend you’re in a really lovely restaurant, you can send your order in.            ~ Jeanne

We’ve been fortunate to find some engaging dining partners. At my table, there’s a lady raised in Houston, a gentleman engineer and a geologist.  We share experiences in the oil business. You never want to go on a cruise with assigned seating lest you have.14 days of misery. That’s not the case here. You find your place. It’s a good system. The dining room is an exceptional place.  It’s incredible the quality with them serving so many people that many meals in such a short period of time.         ~George

Visit a Community. It is always a wise move to take the time to visit the independent living community a few times — have lunch, join an entertainment event, party or activity. Meet residents who have had illustrative careers in banking, oil and gas industry, teaching and other careers. Join their coffee klatches and see the camaderie that has developed. It is a joy to see the new friendships made among senior residents in assisted living communities. It is a pleasure to have senior tell me how happy they are in their new home, without the upkeep of their home, or having to worry about cooking meals.

It is so hard to overcome the emotion of selling one’s 50-year home or downsizing from a large apartment to a smaller one. Residing in an active senior living community in Houston, TX can be the best of all worlds…independence, activities, companionship, stability and great food!  Plan to visit a few senior living communities to determine which would be the best fit for you.
