- Healthy Hints Seminars. There are weekly Wednesday 10am seminars on topics of interest to our residents. June 10th features "Pain Release." by Louise Hayes, a psychologist of some note who has gained recognition around the United States. On June 17th, Master Therapist Bryan Blakely returns to conduct a "Peace of Mind" seminar. Many residents have arrived at Treemont having recently experience a life changing event and are seeking solace and peace of mind.
- Red, White & Blue Documentary Series. Leading up to the 4th of July, this indepenent living Houston community will begin its documentary series with Part 2 of Mark Twain, followed by Benjamin Franklin's biography and conclude with Thomas Jefferson. On the 4th itself, Aimee will feature a patriotic 4th of July movie and also feature a biography on the Declaration of Independence on July 1st. This will be a popular series for our many senior living residents who are history buffs.
- Summer Dance. As you know this senior living Houston community always finds a reason to swing. Our Summer Dance in the Auditorium will be on Wednesday, June 24th at 7pm. The Korvander Czech Band will perform at this dance and our Fall Dance. Treemont is fortunate to hear their delightful music every Wednesday when they rehearse at our assisted living community. The group is popular with our senior living residents, as witnessed by a very croweded dance floor!
There are many daily activities, ranging from Bingo, to bridge, to arts and crafts to exercise. to cooking classes, to educational seminars.
